...I give you this waaay bizarre flash animation about the Saddam Hussein hearings. It came to me via Doug, who has no website I know of.
Speaking of things that come from the 'net, the guy that runs WebSnark, a website that runs daily commentary on a wide, wide variety of webcomics (and which I one day hope to see the Fables on), posted today that he's gearing up for National Novel Writing Month. I've mentioned it here before. Back then, I said I was going to give NaNoWriMo a go this year. That's not so much going to happen. I haven't kept my writing schedule clear; I've just started the Fables and I'm still redrafting Fire and Jade. Besides, when I'm done with that, I'd rather do a few of the short stories I've been kicking around than tackle another novel. So, screw it.
Speaking of things that keep me busy, I joined an Exalted game last night. First Table Top rpg I've been involved in for a while. The guys I'm playing with seem like decent folk and each reminds me of another friend or acquaintence of mine, in their own way, which only reinforces my theory that after a while a person stops meeting new people. I've got to travel a little by bus to get to the game, but if I time it right it's fairly convenient anyway.
Speaking of going places, my car arrived yesterday. Yay! Included with my car were my laundry baskets (dirty laundry included), pillows (woo hoo!), my DVD player (but no DVD's), my Playstation (but no games), a halogen lamp (to light my otherwise night-darkened living room) and my wireless ethernet router. It's a shame I can't get said router to register the signal from the cable modem. So, I still pirate internet from someone else.
Speaking of things that just don't work, I had to drop Russian, much to my regret. That said, Jeni wants to learn Russian, too, and the textbook is available online, gratis, to she and I may keep up the studies, just moving at a slower pace, which is cool. I could've kept up with the class' pace, but it would've meant a serious cut in my writing time and, as important as it is to me to learn Russian, writing is a bit more important.
Speaking of things that are important, I need to go and do my laundry so I have clean clothes to wear tomorrow.

You, sir, are tremendously unique. Some other people, not so much so...
