Hard to Get

Why is it that when I display no interest in someone at all they, almost mystically, feel prompted to ask me out to a movie? I mean, really, what's the deal?

Brian:

Because it's cliche and true at the same time. It's just the way it is. But then again...what the hell do I know about that stuff.

Erik:

Poor guy. 65 degrees in January and the bitches just won't back up offa him. Man, nothing goes his way.

gus:

yep we feel your pain.... wait a minute no we dont :)

Ogre:

Way to make yourself a target man. And people don't talk about playing hard to get as a strategy for nothing.

Jason:

"Make [my]self a target?" That's just dumb. I mean, what, if I've got no interest, I need to show some interest so as to make the chick uninterested?

I fuckin' hate this shit.

Brian:

It's almost like feigning no interest to make them interested. So you have the skills and just didn't know it.

Ben of the Azure Sea:

"Baby, you're so money, and you don't even know it."

-- Vince Vaughn, "Swingers"

Jason:

So, so true. I remain entirely too attractive for my own good.

Ah, the trials of being me...

^_-

Marc:

Didn't we cover this the last time with the coffee chick? Where are the pictures?

Also...what was the movie?

Brian:

Hmmmm...I wonder what would Brian Boitano do?

Jason:

Word, Lukas. Word.

Oh, and incidentally Marc, this is the same girl as the coffee girl. No, even I am not so immenently desirable as to have more than one girl going after me at once.

Well, maybe... I mean, there is my Japanese teacher... ^_-

Ogre:

I didn't mean making yourself into a target for the girls...
