That's only marginally more disturbing than the regular Totoro.
And it's Cthulhu. Although there are at least 3 canonical ways of pronouncing it. Not that you're supposed to be able to pronounce the unspeakable.

Don't think for a second that I don't know how to spell Cthulhu. Think, rather, that I make typographical errors and don't always bother to proof-read my blog posts.
I found the picture on rpg.net where someone had posted it for the enjoyment of the various forum-goers in the belief that it demanded a caption. I, personally, think it works just fine without one.

Brian emailed me today with the awesomest story related to this picture. This picture, you see, lead to his first introduction to the... erm... wonders of H.P. Lovecraft.
I really hope he shares the story here...

After some consideration I decided to share what I emailed you. For the purposes of the blog I'll make it a little shorter.
After reading your post on Cthulhu I decided to look up what the heck it is. After reading about it I figured ok...now I know..no biggie. Fast forward to the middle of the night and I proceed to have a nightmare of someone making the stupid choice of waking up Cthulhu from its desired sleep. Cthulhu wakes up and bites the other person in half.
It turns its attention to me and I begin to run like hell. I woke up in a sweat before it caught up to me.
So to Jason I thank you for giving me the inspiration for nightmares. Nothin' but love J but - yer an a-hole.
