It's sad, but it's become as much of a tradition for me to miss the Great Pumpkin as it is for Linus. It was on last night, of course. And I didn't even know until today. One day I'll just but the thing on DVD, but in a lot of ways that seems like it would be missing the point.
Aaaarggh!

Dude, its like me and "Its a Wonderful Life". Gotta watch it once a year, on Christmas Eve, on the tele. Can't watch it on video or DVD. It HAS to be on television, and it HAS to be on Christmas Eve. Otherwise everything just ain't the same.

Are you suggesting that ANY version of The Great Pumpkin is lame???? I don't care HOW you see it, blasphemer.

I did not once use the word lame. That was you.
Meanwhile, I downloaded Great Pumpkin and can now watch it to my heart's content. Whee!
("I got a rock.")
But it really doesn't quite feel the same, not watching it "live" on TV...

Jason:
It ended the same way as always. It's not like George Lucas got ahold of it or anything.
