I think my favorite quote out of that is either
"Robin is the greatest hero ever! I wish I could be Batman's bottom!"
Or
"People who create Aquaman shouldn't throw stones."
Such a toss up.

Best line from JLU this week:
Captain Cold, to his fellow villains, after yet another failed attempt to take down The Flash - "You know what? Taking turns is dumb."

Yeah, that was really genius. The whole episode was pretty top notch, and spot-on for the Flash - the ring with the costume, Linda's on-camera problems, the entire scene between the Flash and the Trickster in the bar... Man, the end on that:"hey, dude, soon as you finish your drink, turn yourself in." "You got me again, Flash!"

Mark Hamill cameos are always fun.

Especially since Hamill also played the Trickster on the Flash live-action show. He's effectively reprising the role.

You know, I want to be shocked and amazed, but it's kind of like how I would react if Tom Cruise would suddenly decide to come out of the closet. Not as big of a shock as I would expect.

Why has no one mentioned that, for some reason, this whole essay is intersparsed with some woman dressed up as Wonder Woman slowly undressing? is it some ploy to get the reader to keep reading? I don't know.
"Next, on Strange Super-Fetishes: WONDER-PORN!"

Come to think of it, since comic book characters are more or less defined by their costumes, wouldn't the act of undressing kind of spoil the illusion you're trying to foster? Ideally, if you dig on Diana, you should get a thrill from watching a woman PUTTING ON the costume. No?

Erik, you just invented a new kind of super-porn. Bravo.

Well, the reason for the existing Wonder-Porn is, in the words of the essayist himself (right there at the bottom of paragraph 2), penance. Penance for long, unwieldy tangents.
Erik's comment, though, I'm just not going to speculate on.
